Getting to ARiA is easier than you think.

Wherever you're flying from, Senegal is well connected. Here's everything you need to plan your trip with peace of mind.

Where you land

All flights arrive at Blaise Diagne International Airport (DSS), Senegal's main international gateway, about an hour's drive from our villa in Ngaparou.

Flying from...

Europe

Direct flights of around 5 to 6 hours from many European cities. If there's no direct flight from your city, one connection through Paris, Brussels, Lisbon or Istanbul will get you here in a day.

North America

Non-stop flights from the United States with Delta, and from Canada with Air Transat. You can also connect through Europe, Istanbul or Addis Ababa.

Africa

Dakar is a regional hub, with direct flights from many African capitals. Air Senegal connects a large number of West and Central African cities, and Casablanca is a convenient hub.

Rest of the world

One connection is usually enough: via Dubai or Istanbul, via Addis Ababa with Ethiopian Airlines, or via Europe, often the simplest option from Latin America.

Before you book

Wait for confirmation

Book your flights once your place is confirmed with your deposit.

Book early

For intercontinental flights, booking 2 to 4 months ahead usually gives the best prices.

Match your dates

Land on the first day of your edition and fly out on the last. Want to arrive earlier or stay longer? Let us know and we'll help you organise it.

Travel documents

Passport

Valid for at least six months from your arrival. You may be asked to show your return ticket.

Visa

Many nationalities can visit Senegal without a visa for short stays, but entry rules evolve. Check the requirements for your nationality before you book.

Yellow fever

A vaccination certificate is required if you arrive from, or transit through, a country with a risk of yellow fever. Ask your doctor about recommended vaccinations.
